Greenwood PTA Needs a Volunteer Coordinator!
We already have one wonderful parent stepping up again as Volunteer Coordinator, but this is designed to be a two-person team, and we’re looking for someone to join them!
Our Volunteer Coordinators help make it easier for families to get involved and for our teachers, staff, and PTA to get the volunteer support they need. The role includes:
- Coordinating with school staff on the volunteer approval process
- Processing volunteer requests from teachers, staff, and the PTA
- Helping recruit volunteers and supporting others with volunteer outreach
- Confirming volunteers are approved before events and activities
- Encouraging parents and caregivers to get approved to volunteer
- Helping coordinate Volunteer Appreciation Week

Volunteering at Greenwood Elementary
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Greenwood Elementary School! Over the course of the school year, there will be many opportunities, both large and small, to make a meaningful, positive impact on our school community.
You may get started in several ways:

- If you are a parent, speak with your child’s teacher about any classroom-based volunteering opportunities they have coming up.
